Social Networks are web-based platforms that enable members to create a public or semi-public profile to form connections, maintain relationships and share their information with others.

How do I join?
All you need to join most networks is an email address, a username and a password.

Welcome to the Internet!

Welcome to susi b's self-help guide to the world wide web on the Internet. What is the Internet? The Internet consists of a huge collection of  interconnected computers that form a network that enables us to communicate with one another, regardless of where we are in the world.
The Internet in plain English:



If you are new to the Internet then you are in the right place, because here you will find a step-by-step guide with links on how to enter the world of the Internet and how to use it safely. You will be introduced to the phenomena of social networking, learn how to set up an email address - which you can use on the Internet, how to upload and send photos, how to save bookmarks, write a journal and if you want to 'surf the web' or be present and active on the web you can find out all you need to know right here! There are links on the side under 'Pages' where you can search for answers of common queries from 'how to search in Google' to 'learning how to set up your very own blog' or 'wiki page'. And for anything you can't find, you can ask a question via email or just submit a comment below and I will endeavour to find the answer for you.
